Today marks one year that I have Bruce! 356 days ago today my life changed! This was our first picture together, and since then there has been thousands more. I LOVE YOU BRUCE! Today was the annual The Stephen Siller ‘Tunnel to Towers’ Race/Walk. I was standing right by the finish line for about the first two hours watching all of the people complete the race. What an inspiration. There was so much love and happy people crossing that finish line. A lot of moments touched my heart. I have never sat through a race until this year, it’s 11th. I would watch it 100 times over. I hope that I can get into shape to actually run it next year. So many runners jumped up and touched the banner with Stephen Siller’s face on it. So many wounded warriors, police officers, firefighters with 60+ lbs. of gear on, military with their gear and gas masks on and children, men and women of all ages ran the 5k retracing Stephen Siller’s footsteps through the Battery Tunnel on that dark dark day 11 years ago. The whole day was just touching. It was a painful reminder of September 11th, but it was a wonderful reminder that hope isn’t lost and that people can still gather for something great. 9/11 destroyed everybody’s life in this city … in one way or another. It affected so many people around the country and even some parts of this world. My heart aches every time I think about that day and the aftermath that followed including this war. With events such as this though, a little hope is restored in my heart. God bless each soul lost on September 11th, 2001 and every single solider who died protecting my freedom since. I will never be able to explain in words or actions how grateful I am to be alive and living in the United States of America.

I love this fucking movie. Sad it’s almost over. Sad I didn’t get to watch it from the beginning. I’m getting back on my Rent flow. This soundtrack is phenomenal.

Currently, I have a (almost) 4 month old pup. He’s a Pitador which is a mix of 1/2 Black Labrador & 1/2 Blue Noes Pitbul. He’s the cutest most precious thing. I named him Bruce after Bruce Wayne. Batman is my FAVORITE superhero of all time. When it came down to picking out a name for my dog, I knew I wanted it to be clever, fun, unique & after something I like. So Bruce took the cake - after contemplating a few other pretty good names. I love Pitbulls regardless of the “bad rep” they have. I also love Boston Terriers! I wanted to get a Boston originally. And I adore French Bulldogs as well. So right now, all I can afford is Bruce. He’s a handful anyway. I also don’t have my own place, nor does it look like I am getting one anytime soon. BUT WHEN I DO, AND MY LIFE FALLS INTO PLACE & BRUCE IS A LITTLE OLDER, I am going to adopt/rescue a Boston & a French Bulldog. 

I will name the Frenchie ACE, after ACE THE BATHOUND who is Batman’s dog in the comics. As for the Frenchie, I have a few options. For a boy: Harvey, Alfred or Gordon. I’m really feeling Alfred though. If it’s a girl, I’m thinking Harley, Quinn, Ivy or Oracle. 

THIS IS A TOTAL RANDOM, UNNECESSARY AND RIDICULOUS POST AND UNREALISTIC AS WELL. I just love looking at pictures of puppies and I can’t wait to have a life<3 BRUCE SAYS HI TO ALL MY FOLLOWERS ON TUMBLR.

My whole life is based around love. Yesterday someone told me that “love isn’t enough. You can’t live on love!” 

That’s really harsh. I thought you could, but now I’m not so sure.
